Ariana Grande and Halsey have both experienced their fair share of criticism/hate on social media. And very early this morning, Halsey stepped in to comfort Grande, and call out her haters, in a not-so-subtle tweet.
Late last night (Nov 24), Grande posted this tweet:
some of the shit i read on here makes me sick to my stomach. it scares me the way some people think and i don’t like this world a lot of the time. if only we could be more compassionate and gentle with one another. that’d be sick.

Halsey then stepped in for support.
ari the world could only dream of being as compassionate and gentle as you. and since ur being, as always, so classy and nice, allow me the honor of telling them to shut the fuck up.

Grande took a brief social media hiatus earlier this fall following the end of her engagement to Pete Davidson and the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. She shared something similar in October: “It’s hard not to bump news n stuff that I’m not trying to see rn. It’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep going.”
Since then, she’s taken to Twitter to call out misogyny (most recently, Piers Morgan), and lately she’s been sharing teasers for her “thank u, next” video with fans on Instagram and Twitter.
